My Story:
Film has literally been my entire life. My parents are both in production, my dad is a Director of Photography and my mom is a writer/producer. I grew up on set watching films get made! But I didn't join the industry until I was a freshman in high school when I started being a PA on my dad’s shoots. I’m really grateful for the unique childhood I had and the opportunity to be on set at such a young age! As a PA, I got to experience a little bit of every department but found myself drawn to the camera.
I joined the camera department as a 2nd AC, getting the chance to learn from some incredible ACs. I’ve been 1st AC-ing now for several years. My career has taken me all over the world, countries like; Ethiopia, Italy, Germany, Israel, Haiti, Cuba, Romania to name a few. I’ve had the opportunity to capturing all kinds of stories and experiences! I’ve worked for brands like Netflix, Oreo, Got Milk, Nike, Devil Wears Prada, Papa Johns, Dominos, GE appliance, Walmart and lots more. It’s been an amazing journey. On set I try to always bring a high level of professionalism and a big smile. I love getting the chance to collaborate and meet new filmmakers.
Film is still my whole life, I met my husband on set a couple of years ago, He’s a DP from Chicago. I’m thankful that we get to be life partners and work partners! He helps keep me sharp in all aspects of myself and my career!
